Save the U.S. Honeybee Industry, Ban Neonicotinoids immediately before Colony Collapse Disorder destroys them all

Created by M.R. on January 27, 2012

Please direct the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and/or the Department of Agriculture to ban the use of neonicotinoids, clothianidin, and thiamethoxam in the U.S. This has been identified by Purdue University Scientists in a 2 year study to be the contributing factor to the death of whole honeybee colonies, also known as Colony Collapse Disorder. Honeybees are a major contributor to pollination and without them, the food supply and agricultural industry will collapse.

Neonicotinoids are used in a to coat soybean and corn seeds in industrial agriculture. They powder does not always stay on the seed and contaminates other flowering plants and soil. We must stop the use of these insecticides before it is too late.
