SAVE THE US NAVAL SEA CADETS

Each year, Congress has granted the Naval Sea Cadet Corps a certain amount of money to offset costs to parents and cadets alike, in order for them to attend trainings at a more affordale cost. In the most recent years, the grant has been about $1.7 million, however this year, congress wants to cut off all funding to the program. This would result in increased training costs, and would deter potential cadets from enrolling in the program. This program serves as a positive influence to over 12,000 youth in the United States. With the trillions of dollars that is spent by our government, the 1.7 million dollars that is granted to the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a small investment in our nation's future, and goes towards an excellent cause that empowers our youth to become successful leaders.
