Save the US Postal Service from bankruptcy by the inaction of Congress. The USPS relies on only stamps and postage alone

If you don't know what Congress did in 2006 you should. They forced the USPS to overpay 75 years of retiree benefits to break the post office up. Many veterans work as post office employees, many disabled and retirees get their medicines through the USPS. There is no excuse to do this except the Republicans need to break the union. Then privatize it. Look how that is working out in prisons, schools and other areas. All funds to keep the USPS running are from postage and shipping income along with sales of shipping supplies. We have a very efficient service that is being stolen from the American People, let's stop this. Call all your representatives before it's too late and please sign this petition. Thank you.
