SAVE THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE! REPEAL the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006 (PAEA)!

Created by L.T. on March 21, 2013

The PAEA unfairly mandates the USPS to pre-fund their pension by 75 years within 10 years.

To save the USPS Congress must repeal the PAEA and restore the illegitimately collected billions of $$$ back to the USPS.

"Since the enactment of PAEA, the USPS has realized net losses of $41 billion, nearly 80 percent of which can be attributed to PAEA's unreasonable prefunding requirement. The USPS is the only large corporation that does not receive tax dollars or subsidies from the federal government... Despite these facts, Congress has refused to act to fix the USPS's financial crisis." www.huffingtonpost.com/ralph-nader/postal-service-saturday-delivery-canc...
