Save the USPS funds by limiting mail delivery to every other day (MWF for designated addresses, T,Th,S for others)

Created by B.W. on December 04, 2012

Save the United States Postal Service (USPS) funds by limiting mail delivery to every other day. Designated routes can be delivered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The other half can be delivered on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

We recognize that many individuals and families still depend on this service to a significant extent. We also recognize the many postal workers who depend on their jobs to sustain themselves.

However, with modern technology, USPS has declined in necessity and, therefore, is now in a tough financial position. Changes need to be made. This proposal attempts to put the post office back into a fiscally responsible position with minimal negative impact on the stakeholders involved.
