Save Water and Produce thousands of Jobs and Renewable Energy

Build solar panel covers for all open waterways such as canals and aqueducts that already exist throughout the U.S. in order to slow water loss to evaporation and at the same time generate electricity. This would create thousands of jobs in the construction of the solar covers, and help save water as the climate warms, not to mention the furthering of renewable energy that will help to remove our dependence on fossil fuels. This is already being done successfully in India and other parts of the world.
