Effective pragmatic approach to save the lives of women, including mothers, while decreasing the need for abortion but making any needed abortion safe and legal. Leave the practice of medicine to doctors and their patients, and get politicians and politics out of clinic consulting rooms. Trust the judgement of women with regard to their health and well being. Make sure that all children born are wanted by their parents. Stop the practices of states whose citizens are anti-abortion from foisting unwanted and often abused children off on unsuspecting parents who choose to avoid parenthood of biological offspring who may have developmental disabilities. Provide adoptive parents with real, complete information on the children they agree to parent. Stop forcing women.
