Thomas Cole, a professional animal rescuer and trainer, saved two dogs this past November. Both dogs had been let loose from a shelter in MN; one of the dogs was muzzled, surviving 15 days till Thomas found her. Then he rescued the second dog--all is on video on Youtube.
Now Mr. Cole is being charged & prosecuted for THEFT of the second dog, an animal he saved. He has a pro bono defense attorney, but such a case as this deserves national attention & federal consideration.

Mr. Cole moved to MN specifically to aid in animal rescue; he is a professional, which is clearly demonstrated in the video on Youtube. Small town biases must be ovecome in this case.
