Say no to the building of the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline

The Keystone pipeline would carry crude oil mined from beneath forests in Canada across the U.S. to the Golf of Mexico. Methods for mining this oil are extremely harmful to the environment and produce the "dirtiest" crude oil on earth, meaning it takes much more refining to be usable as fuel and therefore costs more money and creates more pollution. Furthermore, the pipeline would cross through hundreds of miles of farmland plus several important watersheds and waterways, which means any leaks in the system would be devastating. Studies have also shown that while the building of this pipeline will create temporary jobs, over time it will eliminate more because it will disrupt the growing investment into clean energy that is creating jobs. Tell Obama to say NO to the Keystone XL pipeline.
