Dear President Obama,
During your time as President you have spoken often about the reality of climate change and the importance of the environment. Now is the time for action. You could make no greater statement in support of the environment than to say no to the Keystone pipeline. This would be a bold and courageous move. If we really want to move away from fossil fuels, make this statement. If we really want to encourage the business community to embrace alternative energies, make this statement. There will be some who will be angered by your decision, but long-term it is the right thing to do and future generations will thank you for it.
