The TPP, Trans-Pacific Partnership, is similar to the NAFTA treaty, which has been very detrimental to our economy. However, the TPP is much worse, and has been described by many as "NAFTA on steroids." It has been negotiated entirely in secret by the business community, and even Congress has been given only limited access to information about it. From what is known about it, it would give other low-wage countries many more opportunities to trade with the U.S., while providing no protections for American workers. If you think that it is hard to make a 'living wage' now, wait until this treaty gets enacted. When something has this much power to affect the American people, shouldn't the American have a "say" as to whether or not we agree to it?
