With a medical system that is already stretched to the limit and many veterans waiting several months for common procedures or medical appointments, it's ludicrous for the Veterans Administration to even consider covering gender reassignment. The monies or facility time that would be put toward such a feat, should be funneled toward critical care, or increasing ER Staff at existing medical facilities. Sign this petition to let our government know that we need to take care of basic necessities before we can even think about covering vanity procedures, or elective procedures that aren't necessary.
