As of this moment, the US is considering strikes in Syria in order to punish the use of WMDs by the Assad regime. However, it is possible this is a false flag operation by the rebels, especially since Assad is not losing. Given the cataclysmic intelligence failure resulting in the Iraq war, I urge the Obama administration to not repeat the same mistake.
