We are spending well over $25 Billion each year to Countries outside of the US. This is a well documented fact on www.state.gov. Some of this money spent is for foreign stimulus packages, when the value of the US dollar is at an all-time low.
The budget needs to be balanced or create revenue. We borrow Billions from other countries just to give that money away. When are we going to pay that off? $16.4 Trillion is going to take a long time to pay off, especially when we will hit the debt ceiling around 18 Oct 13 for the third time this year.
It is very improbable that a lower-middle class citizen can afford to send a child through college, which is very disheartening when that encompasses many thousand Armed Forces veterans. We the people are losing faith in our leadership.
