This petition proposes that the current costs for a second inauguration ceremony for an incumbent president be cut by scaling back said ceremony to a more modest affair. There is no logical reason, other than tradition and morale, to spend taxpayer money on such an extravagant event when a similar one has already occurred to mark the president's initial inauguration.
