The salaries of the President, Vice President, and members of Congress shall be proportional to the most recent minimum wage.

A full time worker (50 weeks, 40 hours per week) under current (2013) minimum wage laws makes $14,500 per year.

Working 24 hours a day 7 days a week (no overtime)
4 times full time minimum wage

Current federal salaries, not including benefits, are set such that

12 times full time minimum wage

The Senate majority and minority leaders and the president pro tempore
13 times full time minimum wage

The Speaker of the House
15 times full time minimum wage

The Vice President
15 times full time minimum wage

27 times full time minimum wage
