We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

School lunch reform

Created by B.M. on June 30, 2016

For far too long, our youth in public schools have been fed reheated slop. In France, lunch is made from scratch every day, by their cafeteria workers. The cost of production for each meal is about $1.50. Compared to our $2.75 per reheated meal bought. If I went to the store to buy some salmon, would it make any sense for me to buy frozen if it ended up being almost twice the cost? This is the future of America that we're feeding. My proposal is simple, we must put a chef in every public school(to oversee food production), and food must be cooked, not reheated.
