School Violence please let my children's teacher carry a weapon to protect them

I would like every teacher in America to be treated the same as we do airline pilots. I want my child’s teacher to be trained and required to carry a weapon while on duty at school. This would have helped in Ct.
I say this after learning of the tragedy of the past few weeks as to is clear that no matter how hard we try to protect our children some crazed criminal will always find a means to do his will.
As recent event have shown within the last month 20 children have been stabbed at school, shot with a bow and arrow and unfortunately with a weapon. For this reason I believe the only way we can stop the violence is by requiring all of our teachers to be armed.
