School student spend a lot of time studying subjects such as history, geography which are important but for a 6th or 7th Grader not for a 9th or 10th Grader who is about to finish school and choose is career. Such subjects favour students who mug up chapters over chapter instead of students who understand the subject. And with the requirement for writing word to word from the textbook to get full marks makes students mug it up than to understand the meaning of it. Such subjects are of the category "I wonder what this means, let me just look it up" and don't make a significant impact on life. Hence schools should not teach such subjects like history, geography, 3rd language, etc and concentrate on subject on which the student is going to be tested in future colleagues or in life in general.
