scrap the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program and save taxpayers from spending $1 trillion dollars on a failed program.

Created by J.N. on July 09, 2015

The Joint Strike Fighter program has been broken from it's beginning in 1993, yet no lawmaker has had the courage to stand up against it. After 22 years, dysfunction and lucrative defense contracts have bilked Americans for almost $1,000,000,000,000. What have Americans received for their money? Delayed schedules, cost-over runs and 115 planes that perform WORSE than the 43 year old F-16 it was meant to replace. The F-16 costs 15% what an F-35 costs. We could purchase six, better performing F-16s for every F-35 we will get.

And yet, we continue to sink money into this program. It's estimated to cost at least another $500 billion dollars. Greece's entire debt is $330 billion to give you some perspective.

It's time to stop the 22 year insanity of this program now!
