The real aim of the missile defense initiative is to encircle Russia and China. This is an inherently provocative and bellicose act that the United States would not tolerate if the tables were turned. The waging of wars of aggression elucidated by the Nuremberg Tribunal clearly makes this deployment a hostile action intended to destabilize the comity of nations in the pursuit of full spectrum dominance. Furthermore, the American Federation of Nuclear Scientists is on record opposing this deployment because the technology simply does not work, and the American taxpayer can ill-afford another instance of corporate welfare. Therefore, we the undersigned call on the President Obama to scrap this deplorable initiative and substitute genuine diplomacy in its stead.
