WHEREAS:
No current gun control recommendation would have stopped the Sandy Hook shooter;
Mass shooters kill or wound their victims before police arrive;
Attackers ALMOST WITHOUT EXCEPTION pick "Gun-Free Zones," which are really "defenseless victim" zones;
Armed civilians have a verifiable history of STOPPING such attacks & a safety record virtually identical to that of police;
And concealed carry laws in 42 States have NOT resulted in increased crime or deaths;
WE ASK YOU: EMPOWER & FUND school boards to appoint approved personnel, after background check, mental health evaluation (to standards comparable to those for police), and training, to serve as Armed Security Personnel, to responsibly carry intimately on their persons the means of defending our children.
