I know I'm not the only one tired of seeing on the news someone overdosing on prescription pain medication. I've seen to many people I love be sucked in to opiate use because of a doctor prescribing it to them. These drugs are powerful, highly addictive, and highly dangerous. Marjuana alone can solve so much of this there are thc free strains allowing people pain relief without the high. Yet our government is still trying to keep it illegal to help pharmaceutical companies profits because addicts need their pills. Does our government really care about the people? Because I know a large percentage of opiate addicts change to hard drugs when their prescription ends. Why you say? They crave the high because they have close to the same ingredients. Ban opiates do the right thing for once.
