For those states who have signed petitions to secede from the union, let this be a message to them.
Our nation has made it through it's own independence, against a terrible, tyrannical, and oppressive government. This was back in 1776 when we decided that we could not stand the unfair treatment of our families and we believed that for humans, "it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards to their future security."
Then the civil war.
It all started with what is going on now. If those who do not wish to be a part of this union do not wish to be, in any way, related to the United States of America, which we have rightfully fought for through many wars, then let them part and form their own soveirgn body. For it is their right and duty.
