SECESSION of the CITY of NEW YORK from the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA: Conversion to TERRITORY or COMMONWEALTH

The President-Elect promises mass deportations, immigrant registries, and abuses of basic civil and human rights--the likes of which have not been seen in modern times. We ask that the City of New York and like-minded surrounding Counties be allowed to peacefully secede from the United States and convert to a Territory or Commonwealth in an effort to protect ourselves from the President-Elect's illegal--and increasingly irrational--actions.
