The Second Amendment was put in place to protect the American people from tyrants and oppression from our own Government

Stop the federal Government from banning Semi-automatic weapons. The shooting in CT was a great tragedy but why bane the weapon that was recovered from the trunk. It is time that this nation only punishes the persons who have comitted the crime and not the whole nation. Ben Franklin said the only time we will need the Second Amendment is if they try to take it away. We have the rights to bare arms to protect ourselves from threats foreign and domestic. We have the right to bare arms to protect ourselves from the government and we should be able to bare the same arms they have. Please stop the sincless bane of semi-Automatic fire arms.
