Located at the corner of 12th and D Street S.W., Washington D.C., is an unsecured fuel depot with the potential to kill thousands of people, destroy our nation’s monuments, and cause the incineration of buildings like the Holocaust Museum. Compounding this problem are hazardous rail shipments of toxic chemicals that pass within a block of the facility.
DHS and the FBI are well aware that this facility is defenseless against an attack. Their failure to correct the problem leaves the United States susceptible to foreign and domestic terrorist organizations. Should security at this site continue to be overlooked, it is only a matter of time before the site is exploited and the obvious flaws kill innocent people in the process. Help me get word out about this vulnerability.
