Require all schools that receive State or Federal funding of any type to have at least 10% of its staff who volunteer to participate in the program, go through background checks via the local County Sheriff's Office to participate, and then again once each year to re-check the backgrounds.
Then, the participants will qualify through the local sheriff's office with concealed carry firearms of their choosing, quarterly, total of 4 times a year and attend firearms civil and criminal law training those same 4 training days.
These 10% will then be allowed to carry at any time, in our schools, to keep our children safe. There are easily 10% of our teachers, whom we already trust to take care of our children, that could pass the background and pass all the training to accomplish this.
