With all the events going around the world and the high risk of terrorist acts to our airports and to the American people, Uber keeps misleading the public about their “extensive background check, which is performed by Accurate and/or Checkr??!!!!” and claims that it is better than Live Scan, which takes an individual’s fingerprints and then runs them through FBI and state databases.
Los Angeles Councilman Paul Krekorian said: “Hardly anyone hitchhikes anymore because of the danger of getting into a stranger’s car, but as soon as that stranger responds to us over our smart phone, suddenly that becomes a safe thing? NO IT ISN’T -- NOT WITHOUT A FINGERPRINT BASED BACKGROUND CHECK."
We need to secure our airports from "Strangers". Uber influence must stop when it comes to our nation safety!
