Our national power grid is vulnerable to EMP attacks which would destroy ever object that runs on electricity for a couple months. The results of this would be apocalyptic and would kill an estimate 9 out of 10 people within the first year. China, Russia, North Korea, and potentially Iran have these capabilities. In the event of EMP ever car, phone, TV, and our food production would come to a staggering halt. We could stop this by strengthening our electric grid from disruptions that would shutdown our grid.
