Secure our Schools More strict gun laws will not solve the problem. Criminals and terrorists do not abide by laws.

Created by L.W. on December 18, 2012

The problem we have to address here is the security of our children. Security from all sorts of weapons and terrorism, not just guns. As long as our children are required by law to go to school, we have the right to require that our schools secure our children. I propose that we have double door security with an atrium in between the two sets of secured doors with metal detectors. I would post an ARMED guard in a secured location to oversee the security operations, not just a secretary buzzing people in and out. I would like to see a comprehensive evaluation and implementation of school security.
Criminals and terroists do not abide by gun laws. Whether you like it or not, It has been proven repeatedly that more lenient guns laws reduces violent crime and mass killings.
