We, the people of the grand United States of America, though humored by the response to our previous petition to secure funding and begin construction on the Death Star, were overall disappointed by the decision of our leaders. We are more than happy to compromise, however, and hereby announce our latest petition, Secure Recourses and Funding, and Begin Construction of a Republic Attack Cruiser.
One of the main arguments that the White House laid out against the construction of a Death Star was the massive cost to taxpayers. Though we found that to be irrelevant, considering the tens of thousands of individuals, citizens of our great nation, that signed previously willing to help, we are willing to compromise.
