Please ask the government of Sudan to release Meriam Yehya Ibrahim. She is charged with apostasy and is scheduled to receive 100 lashes and death by hanging.
Meriam is a 27 year-old doctor and Christian. She was raised by her Christian mother who is now deceased.
She is married to an American citizen and Christian who resides in New Hampshire.
Meriam has been in the Sudan prison for quite some time. Her 20 month-old son has been with her in jail. On May 27, she gave birth to their daughter in the jail hospital. Her husband, Mr. Daniel Wani, has tried to get help through lawyers in Sudan but there has been no change.
Pressure the Sudanese to release Meriam and her children. This horrific situation endangers a family who has done nothing. Please act quickly.
