US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl has been held captive since 2009. As US Citizens we demand from our duly elected government that they secure the release of our serviceman being held as a POW by ANY means necessary. The US Government should authorize US Special Forces (Via MarSoc, Seals, or Delta Force) to retrieve our countryman from our enemy using any force necessary. The US Government should concurrently use diplomatic channels to secure Sgt. Bergdahl's release. This includes making the trade offered by the Taliban for five of their officers. We categorically cannot allow this soldier to be detained as a prisoner of war any longer. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness must be afforded to this man as well.
