Those who sign here petition the United States government to secure funding and resources, and begin construction on a Millennium Falcon by 2017.
By focusing our defense resources into a space cargo transport and weapon system such as a Millennium Falcon, the government can spur job creation in the fields of construction, engineering, space exploration, and more, and strengthen our national defense at the same time. This space-craft could be used to transport crew and supplies to the International Space station as well and be a focal point for pride in the U.S. space-program for years to come.
