This petition calls for the Federal Government to secure resources and funding, and begin development and construction of a gravitational wave based SETI (Search for extraterrestrial intelligence) detector.
With the construction of the SETI detector, the government can spur job creation in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and to answer one of the most intriguing questions in astronomy and biology: "Are We Alone?"
