This would create the opportunity to explore STEM careers, as well as have immediate impacts in the fields of science, medicine, and entertainment. Holodecks are the next logical step to current holographic and virtual reality technology.
In addition, the Holodeck would allow researchers in all fields, including defense, to test multiple operational scenarios without risk of incident or injury, as well as allow individuals to explore historical and cultural time frames and events, furthering the advancement of education.
