See to it that Veterans receiving 100% disability through the VA also qualifies for Social Security Disability.

Created by K.N. on January 29, 2014

Both the VA and Social Security have the same criteria to be eligible for disability, but a veteran who is granted 100% disability through the VA can be denied Social Security disability. Veterans who are unable to work because of their disabilities should be able to get both the VA disability and the Social Security disability since they have sacrificed so much for America. Treat our Veterans with the due respect they deserve.
