We petition the President to seek the approval of congress before taking any military action in Syria.
Approval should be sought whether said military action is against the Assad Regime, against the Islamic State, or for any other reason within Syrian borders.
It is vital that the President not act unilaterally in widening the conflict into additional territories without the approval of the American people through their representatives in Congress. This is required by the Constitution of the United states which clearly says that it is Congress that has the sole power to declare war.
