While we recognize the humanitarian tragedy that is the Syrian civil war, the commitment made by dedicating the U.S. military to intervention is one that must not be taken lightly, and to truly succeed requires the support of the nation as a whole.
We call upon the President to seek Congressional approval for use of his powers under the War Powers Act before employing the United States Military to intervene in the Syrian civil war.
