Intervening in Syria's civil conflict is a complicated issue that may result in the loss of many American lives. Deliberations for American involvement in the conflict should include the voices of the people. But, since a nationwide vote is unrealistic, the people's representatives should be consulted before action is taken. This is not only morally responsible but is required by the constitution.
