Seek Congressional sponsorship and introduce a Constitutional Amendment to establish term limits for Congress.

Created by C.K. on November 14, 2012

The President is but one person with term limits due to Presedent FDR's unprecedented four terms until the ratification of the 22nd Amendment. The 535 Congressional members have too often placed party above the people due to the lack of term limits and have become too ideological and lack the cooperation needed to move our country forward. It is time to eliminate these career politicians, and, thus, the need to worry about the political game that, again, places party, self and interest groups above the people.

Congressional term limits will focus politicians on the task of doing what is best for the nation instead of building a muti-million dollar campaign purse. Congressional term limits will force a periodic introduction of new and fresh ideas, and eliminate the destructive gridlock
