We propose to amend the constitution to significantly reduce the bias caused in our political system as a result of monetary influence -
** Lobbyists, or any individual or business / corporate or nonprofit group or entity, will NOT be allowed to provide gifts, rewards, cost reductions or “favors” of any kind, to any office holder.
** Donations / gifts or cost reductions from any single business / corporate or nonprofit entity, group or person, is limited to $100 per year to any individual candidate’s campaign or political party. (Any campaign ad funded by any individual or group, mentioning any candidate or political party within 90 days of an election, is to be considered a monetary donation or gift for a candidate, and is subject to the same campaign donations limits.)
