All states must be held to accept the valid carry permits of any citizen of the United States the same as all states accept out-of-state driver's licenses. Why do citizens of one state lose their right to protect themselves by crossing an imaginary line into some other states? We should make it easier for law abiding citizens to obtain carry permits for a greater sense of security in the United States as a whole, not just the state where we each reside. Put an end to No Gun Zones and allow teachers to protect students and college students to protect themselves. The majority of gun owners are responsible people. Laws against guns do not stop criminals from using them so why stop good guys from protecting themselves from the bad guys?
