March 9th, 2015, 47 U.S. Senators mailed a letter to Iran seemingly with the intent of educating the Iranian government about the U.S. constitution. Under Article I, Section 5, clause 2, of the constitution, a member of congress, the senate, or the house may be expelled from office prior to the expiration of their term by way of two-thirds majority vote. Actions in both the House and the Senate have generally concerned cases of perceived disloyalty to the U.S. The statement regarding the repeal of any agreement reached with the current administration once it changes potentially harms all treaties and or negotiations put forth by the U.S with any of its allies; and, as a U.S. senator this should be self-evident. In signing and sending this letter these 47 Senators were disloyal to the U.S.
