SEEK INDEPENDENCE FROM ISRAEL.

Created by G.D. on March 20, 2015

As Israel recognized in its recent refusal to back the U.S. supported U.N. resolution on Crimea, the interests of Israel are not the same as those of the U.S., and Israel's policy is driven by its own interests. Similarly, the U.S. must also commence acting in its own interests as opposed to those of Israel.

Accordingly, the U.S. shall no longer automatically veto any measure before the U.N. Security Council dealing with Israel, but shall instead vote on the basis of the merits of the particular measure. Further, the U.S. shall no longer automatically defend Israel before international bodies such as it did recently before the U.N. Human Rights Council. Finally, the U.S. shall no longer automatically refuse to join our U.N. and E.U. partners in imposing sanctions and boycotts on Israel.
