Seek Justice for Kelly Thomas, who was murdered two years ago by six officers of the Fullerton Police Department

Created by T.L. on January 13, 2014

Recently, two of the six officers responsible for the murder of Kelly Thomas, a mentally ill homeless resident of Fullerton, California, were acquitted of the murder of Thomas, despite overwhelming, including videotape evidence, indicating that they brutally beat him, causing severe injuries leading to his eventual death five days later. In the video of the incident, Thomas can be clearly heard screaming "Dad! Dad!" and begging for mercy from the officers. Tests taken showed that Thomas had neither drugs nor alcohol in his system at the time of the beating.

The acquittal of officers Ramos and Cicinelli is a gross miscarriage of justice, and we petition the Obama Administration to use whatever powers it has to right this wrong.
