The military requirement for a National Draft should be reinstated, to buttress the existing voluntary staffing of the armed forces of the U.S. In addtion this reinstatement should also restrict Defferment Status to the strictist requirements so that all American's should serve at least two years + of active duty. This would require that all Americans, all classes Rich and Poor, including family members of Congress and the Federal Government, to be subject to the Draft.
This action would serve to have all Americans young and old to register and participate in all elections, and have full knowledge of who they elect to public office. Young people would have military training which could help train them for employment either in the military or after their tour of duty ends.
