The basis for this petition is rooted in Speaker Boehner's blatant disregard for economic equality and his negligence to develop sound economic policies that guarantee all Americans will be prosperous.
Regarding the issues of unemployment insurance and job creation, Speaker Boehner knows jobless Americans need these benefits and knows cutting off aid will hurt the economy, but insists on spending cuts to offset the costs. Furthermore, Speaker Boehner killed legislation for the 2011 American Jobs Act, which estimates projected would have created over 1 million jobs–while offering no alternative bill to boost job creation.
It is clear that Speaker Boehner's priority is to work against the common good and well-being of Americans, and therefore should be relieved of his congressional duties.
