The 2nd amendment provides citizens the right to bear arms and defend themselves. As we have seen, this right has caused more harm and damage through events like the December 14 elementary school shooting. This amendment is used as an excuse to allow assault weapon ownership - lets repeal the amendment and impose true gun control.
